About accelerated resolution therapy (art)

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based approach to treating trauma, anxiety, grief, and other emotional challenges, often in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy. ART works by helping the brain process distressing memories and sensations in a way that reduces their emotional intensity, without requiring clients to talk through all the painful details.

Using a combination of eye movements, guided imagery, and relaxation techniques, ART allows clients to access and reprocess traumatic or stuck experiences quickly and effectively. Many people describe ART sessions as focused, empowering, and surprisingly gentle. You remain in control throughout the process, and together we work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
